Enlightenment Exercises
1. Continuous gentle breathing for 25 cycles of in-breathing and out-breathing with eyes closed.
2. Be thankful in all things.
3. Accept embarrassment, ridicule, or humiliation, which are good ego-reducers.
4. Do something for someone today for no reason and with no thought of reward.
5. The enlightenment formula: Do everything 100% and leave the results to God.
6. Be quietly centered in the Now for the next 5 minutes.
7. Hum “Aum” to yourself for 5 minutes (or “Ohm” or ”Amen” or ”Shalom”).
8. Pick out one note between Middle C and High C and play it or hummmmmm it for 5 minutes.
9. Acceptance: Accept something today that you ordinarily resist or reject.
10.Enjoy something today that you ordinarily just tolerate.
